Who We Are

At Stevenson Consultancy, our mission is to make the world a safer place for children. We understand the importance of keeping children safe from abuse, and that's why we specialise in providing exceptional training and consultancy services to organisations.

With our expertise and dedication, we empower organisations to create safer environments where children can thrive. We offer innovative solutions, tailored to meet the unique needs of each organisation we work with. Trust us to guide you on your journey towards creating a safer world for children and young people.

The company is based in the UK, and was founded by Fiona Stevenson RMN, a registered nurse with a background in adult mental health.

Fiona has extensive experience working across statutory and non-statutory agencies, including youth justice, social care, health addiction services, early years, sports, performing arts and was the lead officer for a large local authority Child Protection committee where she coordinated the inspection of children’s services before joining the NSPCC where she was the Consultant for Child Protection training and consultancy in Scotland.

Fiona’s passion for ‘children to be at the centre’ extends to her experience as a short-break foster carer and as a foster panel member. She is the Child Protection Trustee for her local Home-start and board member of an independent school Safeguarding Commission. Her knowledge and skills of legislation and guidance within Scotland will support organisations who work across the UK to understand their responsibilities and develop their policies, procedures and staff training within GIRFEC framework and the rights of the child (UNCRC).
